  1. What is the difference between single-phase and two-phase implants?

The term single-phase implant means that the dental implant can be placed in a single step (single surgery), with the root of the implant and the element in between consisting of a single piece. In this case, the implant head extends beyond the gum, avoiding a second surgery after healing. However, single-phase implants are only suitable for dense and large amounts of bone.

In contrast, with two-phase implants, the titanium screw (artificial root) and the element in between are separate pieces. In a traditional implantation, the artificial root is inserted first, then, after ossification and healing, the area is reopened and the pontic and the prosthesis are placed. In the case of a two-phase implant, it is also possible to place an immediate load implant, and this is also the procedure we use in our practice to create immediate load implants.

Our partners can choose from a range of different sizes and widths of abutments, with a choice of interfaces according to the system required. We even have a customized solution for every case!
